Oh! Umm, uh, excuse me, I think I got into the wrong room somehow... I don't really write fan fiction, I just blundered into TORC and the David Wenham swooning threads and things started to happen. . .
I'm almost sixty, have been a librarian for over 30 years, and fit the profile perfectly, being single with two cats, lots of books and a small garden. Faramir has been my favorite LOTR character since I first read the books, and that's where my fan fiction interests lie.

Hey, MoH! *waves*
And a librarian? I'm so jealous that you get to spend your days surrounded by stacks and stacks of books. *insert the ever-elusive drooling smiley here*

Hail and Greeting, MoH!
Do you get to shush!noisy people in your library?!
Faramir's your favorite LOTR character? What a surprising notion ;D!
Though this doesn't seem to be a Faramir-dedicated site, it is certainly Faramir-friendly!

Oh, we should take this as a characterization for this board: For Faramir-friendly avid writers and budding authors!

Hello, MoH! Nice to meet a(nother) fellow Faraholic... there are a lot of us, aren't there? Well, the more the merrier! And more Faramir fans means more Faramir fanfic . That reminds me of one of many moments of madness on TORC when we formed Faraholics Anonymous and turned the thread into one long therapy meeting. Not sure if anyone was cured though.

A-ha, found you, MoH! So you thought you could quietly edge in sideways without RQ finding you...no chance! ;D I'm very happy to find out you're a librarian, and wish I could come to your library - I know you'd let me check out 60 books at a time and not fine me, even when they were a year overdue. And as a thank you I would promise not to replace the books on the shelves myself which I know librarians hate because it totally screws up the careful ordering of the Dewey Decimal System... When I was growing up, I was lucky to have a wonderful librarian called Anne who guided me through the most important stages of my reading life, starting with The Cat in the Hat and progressing through to the heavy classics. She used to prepare little lists of books I should read, and then we would chat about them afterwards. She really nurtured my love of reading, and I'm still in contact with her. She usually sends me a book of poetry every birthday. She was delighted when I studied English Lit at university, and even happier when I became an English teacher. I really owe her so much. And she used to waive my fines!! She was a revolutionary in her own quiet way. -rEdP.S. Can you post photos of your cats in the Pets section, please. I'm a Faraholic and a Furaholic, too! ;D P.P.S. This is a blatant fib, MoH. What is 'Exile' if not fanfic? I mean, it's not like it's something you'd find on the back of a cereal packet, is it? It is fanfic.
