FotR: Farewell Dear Bilbo
(Begins with an invisible Bilbo heading home)
Gandalf says that there are ‘many magical rings in this world.’ Is he only referring to the rings made by Sauron or are there other rings out there?
Bilbo calls the ring “my precious” and Gandalf looks taken aback.
The part where Bilbo says he wants to keep the ring and Gandalf goes all stormy on him I think some of the awe was taken away for me when I saw that Gandalf’s mouth was hanging open.
(BTW, is this pace working for everyone? We can move along more quickly or more slowly.)

I assume that this pace is working for everyone, three a week? If not, please say so.

I think the pace is ok, but I will have to watch the scenes again, which I am planning to do tomorrow.

I always try to watch the movie as if it was the first and not the umpteenth time. It is interesting, how the power of the ring is shown in the first scenes. When Bilbo considers to keep it, we get an idea how much it can take hold of his bearer and it is amazing how long Bilbo managed to stay unaffected by it.
