I've not had any alerts from ff.net for a day or so,nor were a couple of reviews e mailed to be as they usually are. Is anyone else having the same problem or is it just me?

Ah, the Pit of Voles... can't live with it, can't live without it...
I'm impressed that there is an answer from Xing to that problem. (What do you have to do to get a reply from a living person at FFNet? Just curious...)
I think one thing is sure, the management could be better to put it politely.
However, I still enjoy that they are open for everything, which is more than can be said of most other fanfic archives.
Cheers, Juno

Yes, they're up for anything, as the following link will show:
www.fanfiction.net/s/2996782/2/
It's that "unbelievable" story, still there in all its repulsive glory, still sporting the anti-Semitic comment above Ch. 2 and generally befouling many of Tolkien's characters.
Doesn't Tolkienfanfiction offer a non-restrictive environment, or close to one?
I have stopped my boycott of FF.net, but I'm still annoyed at the site. And it's so hard to post there...
I have no idea what it takes to get an actual response from the admins at FF.net, since I never was able to get such answers. Maybe if one promises to sacrifice a package of printer ink to Sauron or something....
Hi, Juno!

I do love TFF. But FFNet remains the biggest site available... And I have lots of readers there - while only a handful of people read my stuff at TFF and even less at HASA (I don't know why I even bother posting something there).
Cheers, Juno
